Apologies for not posting a blog for about a month. The family and I have been focusing a lot on being in the moment with Dhon here in Omaha. We prepared lots of things for Dhon’s big 1 year and we hope that was a blessing to you. If you have no clue what I am talking about shoot us an email or check out Dhon’s website.

It has been quite busy here, nearly two months already at Madonna and it flew by so fast. The days go by quick as Dhon is so busy. He is having lots of fun here to as we get to go to outings and get into the . Omaha has been a blessing to all of us as we meet new friends and build new relationships. The picture on the blog is of a family who has been so loving to Dhon and I through our transition. They have helped us explore Omaha, take us to church and have showed us love beyond understanding.

We didn’t quite know how long we would stay at Madonna but it appears that two months is way beyond the average length of stay for inpatient rehab here for most patients so we have been blessed. That means we have been looking for our next adventure. Please be praying that God guides us to where we should be next. Also be praying that insurance and all the cards line up so we can be here at Madonna receiving this excellent care as long as possible.
